We’re officially two years deep in this podcast game and we got 37 episodes, 12 tributes and 20 guest interviews to show for it. In two short years, we somehow landed the greatest producers of all-time like DJ Premier, Pete Rock and Erick Sermon. We've spoken to some legendary MC's like KRS-One, Masta Ace, Pharoahe Monch, Ras Kass and were fortunate enough to chopped it up with Roc Marciano, Evidence, Planet Asia, Slug, Apathy and Bonz Malone to name a few. We covered Philly hip-hop, Brooklyn hip-hop, Indie hip-hop, West Coast hip-hop and produced extensive tributes for DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Native Tongues, KRS-One, Prodigy, Atmosphere, Pharoahe Monch and Wu-Tang Clan. Plus, we Respect(ed) The Architects twice while covering LL Cool J, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, Slick Rick, Big Daddy Kane, Eric B. & Rakim, Run-DMC, EPMD and Boogie Down Productions.

On Episode 37, our 2nd anniversary special, we take a break from all the tributes and interviews and deliver you music that’ll bound to wreck your body and say turn the party out. We got classics from Nice & Smooth, Gang Starr, X-Clan, 3rd Bass, The Beatnuts, M.O.P., Wu-Tang Clan, Black Moon, plus a very special treat for all you 90s R&B fans out there. These shows are made with lots of love, and you, the listener always show us that love back. This episode is for you! Thank you for being apart of our extended family and for keeping hip-hop alive. Happy Holidays!

On November 2, 2016 The "Take It Personal" Podcast was launched as the Golden Era and boom-bap-focused podcast to beat all Podcasts. Broadcasting all the way live from Del Boca Vista and brought to you by the Philaflava crew, who founded one of Complex Magazine's "Top 10 Most Influential Hip-Hop Message Boards," well as authoritative subject matter blogs, T.R.O.Y and "Steady Bloggin'," the show and its brand of witty nuance and authentic reverence is here to fill the nostalgia void in your heart, and, as Chino XL once said, "Here To Save You All." Come to where Exit 33 meets Memory Lane at the Honeycomb Hideout, as DJ 360 and co-hosts Jason Gloss and Kevlar take you on a sonic voyage from past to present and back again!
